St. Alexander Nevsky Church in Sofia is a monumental Orthodox temple that is a symbol of Bulgarian culture and faith.

This imposing Neo-Byzantine style building impresses with golden domes visible from afar and an interior decorated with Italian marble, Brazilian onyx and beautiful mosaics.

One of the largest Orthodox churches in the world, it can accommodate up to 10,000 worshippers. A bell tower with 12 bells, the largest of which weighs more than 12 tons, completes the majestic character of the place.
