Description
St. George's Church in Sofia is one of the oldest and most important monuments in the Bulgarian capital. Dating back to the 4th century, this rotunda impresses with its unique architecture and priceless frescoes from various historical periods.
The interior of the temple is decorated with well-preserved paintings from the 4th, 10th and 12th centuries, including a unique frieze depicting 22 prophets.
