Cerkiew Katedralna Narodzenia Przenajświętszej Bogarodzicy

The Cathedral Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God is a unique architectural monument in Wroclaw, combining Gothic style with Baroque elements and Orthodox influence.

The temple impresses with its three-nave basilica structure with transept and dome. The interior is decorated with a valuable iconostasis and polychrome walls, while the exterior features Byzantine finials and a 19th century portico.

The real treasure of the temple is the icon of Our Lady of Chelm, famous for its healing properties, as well as a silver antepedium and two monumental paintings attributed to Franciszek Smuglevicz.
