Description
Lago de Camécuaro National Park is an enchanting corner of nature with crystal clear waters and majestic ahuehuete trees. The park's name comes from the Purépecha language and means 'place of bathing,' which perfectly captures its character.
The park offers a variety of water activities, including guided boat cruises and the opportunity to swim in the clear waters of the lake. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are paths along the lake shore, bicycle rentals (with helmets) and picnic areas.
Declared a national park on March 8, 1947, it is a paradise for photographers and nature lovers.
