From the moment I arrived, I immediately felt the difference. The hustle and bustle of the big city seemed to disappear, replaced by a calmer and more orderly rhythm of life. The Prophet's Mosque is of course the center of this peace, with its magnificent architecture and strong spiritual atmosphere. Being there, surrounded by thousands of people with the same goal, yet feeling the inner silence, is a very touching experience.
Not only around the mosque, the entire city of Medina feels so peaceful. The more regular traffic, the friendliness of the locals, and the maintained cleanliness all contribute to this serene atmosphere. This is a place where you can walk around quietly, soaking in every moment, and feeling a spiritual closeness that is hard to find anywhere else.
For anyone seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of modern life, or wanting to experience deep spiritual peace, Medina is the perfect destination. I highly recommend this city, not only as a place of pilgrimage, but also as a place to rediscover peace of mind.
