Maya Bay

Maya Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, surrounded by majestic green cliffs and crystal clear turquoise waters. The place gained international fame thanks to the 2000 film 'The Beach' with Leonardo DiCaprio.

After a period of closure (2018-2022) to regenerate the ecosystem, the bay has revived - the coral reefs have tripled in size. Visitor restrictions are now in place, and swimming is prohibited to protect the recovering reefs.

It's worth arriving early in the morning to avoid the crowds and fully appreciate the natural beauty of this unique place.
