The Covered Market

The Covered Market is a historic market in the heart of Oxford, operating continuously since 1774. More than 50 independent traders here offer everything from fresh produce, meats and cheeses to handicrafts and gifts.

It's a place full of charm and surprises - you can see a 101-year-old ham in M. Feller's store, a statue of the Polish dwarf Zyczliwek or sculptures inspired by Alice in Wonderland.
