Description

The Anvil Point Lighthouse is a historic site on the south coast of Swanage, England. Built in 1881 from local stone, the lighthouse rises 12 meters above the ground and is 45 meters above sea level.

It emits a white flash every 10 seconds, and although it is not open to the public, the former lighthouse keepers' cottages are available as unique accommodations.

The surrounding area offers breathtaking views from the cliffs, which can be reached by a half-mile walk from Durlston Castle. This is an ideal location for nature lovers and those seeking scenic walking routes.
