Description
St. Mark's Tower is a fascinating historical monument in picturesque Trogir.
Built by the Venetians in 1470, this circular defensive tower with walls up to 3 meters thick was a key part of the city's fortifications.
Although the tower is currently off-limits to the public, its unique architecture and strategic location between the island of Čiovo and the mainland make it an important part of the city's historic landscape.
For lovers of photography and history, it is an excellent spot to admire while strolling through the charming streets of Trogir.
