Description

Royal Crescent is an impressive monument of Georgian architecture in Bath, designed by John Wood the Younger and built between 1767 and 1775.

This majestic semi-elliptical structure consists of 30 terraced houses with 114 Ionic columns, creating one of the finest examples of Georgian architecture in Britain.

As you tour the site, you can admire the elegant honey-colored stone facade and the museum in Building 1, which takes you back to the time of 18th-century England. The site has been home to many notable figures and often appears in costume films.
