Łuk Triumfalny

The Arc de Triomphe in Bucharest is an impressive monument inspired by the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. It was erected in 1936 to commemorate Romania's victory in World War I and the Great Reunification of 1918.

This majestic structure, 27 meters high, impresses with its neoclassical architecture and sculptures by well-known Romanian artists.

The viewing platform offers a panoramic view of the city, and the interior conceals an interesting exhibition. Every year on December 1, military parades are held under the arch celebrating the Romanian national holiday.
