Description
Ezelpoort is one of Bruges' four surviving medieval city gates, also known as the Donkey Gate. Built in 1297 and rebuilt in 1369, it impresses with its Gothic architecture and rich history.
This unique site offers stunning views of the surrounding canals and picturesque streets, and is an ideal starting point for exploring the city's charms. The gate underwent extensive restoration between 1991 and 1993, for which it received the prestigious Europa Nostra Award in 1994.
