Description
The Romanian Athenaeum is a neoclassical symbol of Romanian culture in the heart of Bucharest. This unique building, designed by French architect Albert Galleron, impresses not only with the excellent acoustics of its 794-seat concert hall, but also with an impressive 75-meter-long fresco depicting the most important moments of Romanian history.
As the home of the George Enescu Philharmonic, it offers an unforgettable musical experience in a historic setting. The interior is decorated with ornate meeting rooms, and in front of the building is an intimate park with a monument to poet Mihai Eminescu.
