Description
Kronentor, also known as the Crown Gate, is a gem of Baroque architecture that serves as the main entrance to the Zwinger Palace complex in Dresden.
This imposing structure impresses with its rich ornamentation, sculptures of Greek gods and the symbolic Polish royal crown at the top, commemorating Augustus the Strong.
Four statues representing the seasons and figures symbolizing the time of day add deep cultural significance to the gate. It is an ideal destination for lovers of history, architecture and photography.
