Description
St. Vitus Cathedral is a Gothic masterpiece in the heart of Prague that took nearly six centuries to build.
This majestic temple impresses with its soaring arches, ribbed vaults and beautiful stained glass windows, including works by Alphonse Mucha.
Inside it is the Chapel of St. Wenceslas decorated with semi-precious stones and the Royal Mausoleum with the tombs of Czech rulers.
The Great South Tower offers a panoramic view of the city, and the treasury holds the Czech crown jewels.
