Kopalnia Soli Berchtesgaden

The Berchtesgaden Salt Mine is the oldest active salt mine in Germany, operating continuously since 1517.

It's a unique underground adventure where you'll ride a mine train, take a boat ride on an underground lake and ride down wooden slides.

The multimedia exhibition will take you on a fascinating journey through the history of the mine, where you will meet historical figures and learn about life underground. The temperature inside is 12°C, so it's a good idea to dress warmly, and you'll get a protective suit on site.
