Description
Königsallee is a famous boulevard in Düsseldorf, known as 'Kö' among locals. This elegant avenue with a central canal, designed by Maximilian Friedrich Weyhe, offers an unforgettable shopping experience with more than 50 luxury boutiques from brands such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Prada.
As you stroll along the trees, you can admire historic landmarks, including the Bergischer Löwe monument and the 1898 Tritonenbrunnen fountain. Originally named 'Kastanieinallee' because of its chestnut trees, it gained its current name after a visit by King Friedrich Wilhelm IV in 1848.
