Khor Kalba Mangrove Centre

Khor Kalba Mangrove Center is a unique natural area that is the oldest and largest concentration of mangroves in the United Arab Emirates.

It is a true paradise for nature lovers, offering the opportunity to observe more than 100 species of fish, 90 types of crustaceans and rare birds, including the endangered Arabian kingfisher.

The center allows exploration of an ancient mangrove forest with trees more than 300 years old and up to 8 meters high. Here you can actively participate in environmental initiatives such as mangrove planting and sea turtle rehabilitation.
