Khao Chalak Trail Running is a paradise for running and mountain biking enthusiasts in Thailand.
Located just 1.5-2 hours from Bangkok, it offers both road trails and forest paths of varying difficulty. The most popular training route follows a steep road uphill from Bang Phra Reservoir to the summit, where there is a radio and telecommunications station.
Routes A and E are especially recommended for endurance training. For competitive fans, there are Strava segments where you can track your results and try to set new time records.
