Description
Kelvingrove Park is a historic park in the west of Glasgow, created in 1852.
It is a place full of charm with its historic Stewart Fountain, monuments to famous personalities and scenic paths along the Kelvin River.
The park offers a variety of activities: a skate park, tennis courts, children's playgrounds and picnic areas. Nearby is the famous Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum with its impressive collection of art and artifacts.
This is an ideal area for both active recreation and relaxing strolls among the greenery.

V G3 months agoPark is massive, and something for everyone. They have good size playing area for young children. They also have toilets 🚻 which is a rarity now a day's.
Plenty of seat/ benches along the way. On lovely sunny 🌞 day definitely worth a visit. Pack a picnic, have an enjoyable afternoon out. On Dumbarton Rd Plenty of places for food,/ drinks.
Shawn Brotherhood2 weeks agoInteresting and extensive park with the river Kelvin dissecting it. The river has a pleasant cycle path and hiking trail.Some interesting sculptures throughout.
Gemma Kennedy2 months agoPark was super busy today, and it was great in the sunshine! We sat and chanted some mantras and my toddler dragged me to the park 5 times! She absolutely loved it and there was so much to see! Wish there more toilets though, as the museum is a bit of a walk when you are bursting! Make sure and go before you visit. Love this place though, super chilled when when it's hoaching!Nearby
