Description

The Cathedral of St. Eulalia in Barcelona is a majestic example of Catalan Gothic architecture, whose construction lasted from 1298 to 1417.

The interior impresses with its three naves, beautiful stained glass windows and numerous chapels. Of particular interest is the cloister with a garden that is home to 13 white geese symbolizing 13 years in the life of St. Eulalia, a young Roman martyr.

Note the neo-Gothic facade from the 19th century, the Chapter Museum with valuable artifacts, and the St. Ivo Gate made of Montjuic marble. It is not only a monument, but a place full of legends and history.
