Kartuzja San Giacomo

The Carthusian Monastery of San Giacomo is the oldest historical monument on the island of Capri, founded in 1363. This former Carthusian monastery impresses with its late Renaissance architecture with Roman marble columns.

The site hides two fascinating museums: the Capri Archaeological Museum with exhibits from the Roman era and the Diefenbach Museum dedicated to the German painter.
