Vancouver Art Gallery

Vancouver Art Gallery is an arts and culture center in the heart of Vancouver that has been delighting art lovers since 1931. It is housed in a former courthouse, beautifully remodeled in the Art Deco style by architect Arthur Erickson.

The gallery is famous for its impressive collection of works by Canadian artists, including Emily Carr and Indigenous artists from the Canadian coast. It also presents international exhibitions and works by contemporary Vancouver artists.

Family programs are held here every Sunday, and admission for young people under 18 is always free. On the first Friday of every month, you can visit the gallery for free between 4pm and 8pm.
