Description
The Jean Mihail Palace is an architectural gem of Craiova, built between 1898 and 1907 in the Neo-Renaissance style.
The interiors are stunning with a marble staircase, Ionic-style columns and chandeliers made of Venetian Murano glass.
It now houses an art museum with an impressive collection of Romanian and European works, including sculptures by Constantin Brâncuși. This palace, once host to King Charles I and Tsar Ferdinand, provides an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in Romanian history and culture.
