Kiyomizu-dera

Kiyomizu-dera is one of Kyoto's most famous temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its name means 'Temple of Pure Water,' a reference to the waterfall flowing within the complex.

Built on the slope of Mount Otowa, it offers breathtaking views of the city. It is particularly spectacular during the cherry blossom season and autumn leaf discoloration.
