Description
The Aomori Prefecture Tourism Information Center ASPAM is a spectacular 76-meter triangular building symbolizing the letter 'A' in the name Aomori. Inside, you will find the largest souvenir area in the prefecture with local specialties, from famous Aomori apples and sake to traditional handicrafts.
On the second floor, you can enjoy 360° panoramic displays of the Nebuta Festival, demonstrations of Kogin-zashi embroidery, and free performances on the shamisen instrument. The observation deck on the 13th floor offers breathtaking views of Mutsu Bay and the Hakkoda Mountains.
