Rio Nuevo Battle Site

Rio Nuevo Battle Site is the site of the largest battle in Jamaican history, which in 1658 decided English domination over the island. The 30-acre museum park offers fascinating artifacts from the 17th century, panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea, and access to the beach where the English fleet landed. Among the exhibits are wooden mustache brushes from the British Empire and fragments of 16th-century glass bottles.
