Description
Ivinghoe Beacon is a picturesque hill with a height of 233 meters, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding Buckinghamshire countryside.
It's a site steeped in history - an ancient signal post and Iron and Bronze Age archaeological site. The limestone meadows are home to rare species of butterflies and flowers, including orchids.
The hill is an ideal starting point for hiking the Ridgeway Trail. As you walk, you can view wildlife, including deer from the nearby Ashridge Estate. It's also a popular spot for model glider enthusiasts.
