Cascate dell’Amendolea (Maesano)

Cascate dell'Amendolea (Maesano) is a phenomenal waterfall in the heart of Aspromonte National Park, offering an unforgettable experience for nature lovers.

Three parallel cascades fall into natural pools carved into the rock by the force of the water. In summer, you can take a dip in the crystal clear (though cold) water of the last pool, a refreshing reward after a hike.

The path leading to the waterfall leads through picturesque beech and pine forests, offering a variety of flora and fauna along the way. Although the route is not the easiest, the views compensate for any effort.
