Description
Parco Regionale delle Orobie Bergamasche is one of Lombardy's largest protected parks, covering almost 70,000 hectares.
Italy's highest waterfalls, Cascate del Serio, with a height of 315 meters, create a spectacular view when the waters are released in summer. The park is home to about 100 crystal-clear alpine lakes and over 1,000 km of trails for all levels of difficulty.
Here you can encounter chamois, marmots, deer, and eagles, as well as observe reintroduced ibex in their natural habitat.
