Description
Liberty Bell Park is a charming recreation spot in the heart of Jerusalem, named after a replica of Philadelphia's famous Liberty Bell, commemorating the 200th anniversary of the US Declaration of Independence.
The park offers numerous activities for the whole family: playgrounds, basketball and soccer fields and a skate park. The youngest will be delighted by the concrete sculpture of Jerry the Dragon and the Train Theater, a children's puppet theater housed in an old railroad car.
The 1,000-seat amphitheater regularly hosts festivals and cultural events, making the park a vibrant cultural center of the city.
