Irish National Heritage Park

Irish National Heritage Park is a fascinating outdoor museum where Irish history comes to life on 35 acres of picturesque grounds along the Slaney River.

The park offers 16 reconstructed historic sites ranging from the Mesolithic period to the Norman invasion of 1169. Walking among prehistoric encampments, fortified settlements and Viking homes, you can literally touch history.
