Description

Elura is a fascinating historical site, also known as the Ellora Caves. This unique temple complex carved into the rock is a true architectural marvel of ancient India. It consists of 34 caves representing three religions: Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism.

Each cave impresses with its wealth of carvings, reliefs and architectural details. The most impressive is the Kailasa temple - the largest monolithic structure in the world, carved from a single block of rock. The site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
