Sheung Yue River

Sheung Yue River is a scenic watercourse located in Hong Kong's Northern New Territories. It takes its origin from Tai To Yan and flows through the Kwu Tung and Sheung Shui areas, where it joins the Shek Sheung River to form the Ng Tung River.

Surrounded by lush greenery, it offers beautiful views and opportunities for active recreation. Adrenaline junkies can try jumping into a rock pool in the nearby Sheung Luk stream.

The surrounding area is rich in historical and cultural significance - there are ancient Cantonese settlements and stone workshops. Biking and hiking paths around the river are constantly being improved, making the place accessible to a variety of ages.
