Natura Artis Magistra

Natura Artis Magistra is the oldest zoo in the Netherlands and one of the five oldest in the world, founded in 1838.

It is a unique place where you can enjoy more than 900 species of animals and plants from all over the world. In addition to a traditional zoo, the facility also offers an aquarium, planetarium, arboretum and Micropia, a museum dedicated to microbes.

The grounds include 27 historic buildings, bridges and ponds, including an aquarium dating back to 1882. For science and art lovers, there is the Groote Museum, which explores the relationship between man and nature.
