Description
Hofgarten is Germany's oldest public park, established in 1769. The 28-acre site impresses in an English garden style with picturesque paths, bridges and the Düssel Canal.
The park is famous for its unique sculptures by well-known artists, including Max Blondat's Märchenbrunnen (Fountain of Fairy Tales) and Henry Moore's two-part reclining statue.
From May to September, the park hosts free outdoor concerts offering a variety of musical genres. It's the perfect place to relax among nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
