Escultura "Sitios y Lugares"

The sculpture 'Sitios y Lugares' is a monumental work by Ángel Garraza, consisting of two massive forms made of concrete covered with ceramic tiles. Inspired by traditional Basque kaiku vessels, it weighs approximately 100 tons and symbolizes 'the place where you live and the place of the soul'. One form stands upright, the other tilted—creating a dynamic contrast. The work is part of the riverside sculpture trail along the Paseo de Abandoibarra, which connects over 70 works by artists such as Chillida and Dalí.
