Restaurante El Tintero is a legendary seaside restaurant in El Palo, operating since 1966, famous for its unique auction-style service. Waiters circulate among the tables, shouting out the names of freshly prepared dishes - fried fish, sardine skewers, squid, or mussels. The first person to raise their hand gets the plate! This unusual way of serving food arose spontaneously in the 1960s and has become the restaurant's trademark. There is no traditional menu - the kitchen prepares whatever is fresh and available on the day.
