Tubo Volcánico de Guinea

Tubo Volcánico de Guinea is a 90-meter volcanic tunnel, discovered by chance in 1994, which invites you to an underground adventure on the island of El Hierro.

A guided tour takes you through galleries up to 200 meters high, where, equipped with helmets and flashlights, you will discover the secrets of the volcanic past. It is part of the unique Ecomuseo de Guinea, combining geology with traditional architecture and a center for the protection of the endangered giant lizard, one of the most endangered reptiles in Europe.
