Description
Bidarte Jauregia is a magnificent palace built in 1897, designed by Severino Achúcarro as a luxurious residence for the Ybarra family. Surrounded by a sprawling park featuring century-old plane trees, fountains, and walking paths, it now serves as a community center.
The estate once included forests, gardens, and a small racetrack. During the Civil War, it served as a hospital and later as a maternity hospital. The architecture, with its slate roofs and wide eaves, is a delight of elegance.
The park offers playgrounds, fitness trails, and shaded relaxation areas beneath trees over 30 meters tall.
