Description

The Czchow Castle is a fascinating monument dating back to the 13th century, originally a Romanesque watchtower and later expanded into a defensive fortress.

The castle tower offers a picturesque view of the Dunajec River valley. The site has undergone significant restoration work - you can admire the restored tower, the wooden bridge over the valley and the reconstructed gates.

There is an archaeological exhibition on the castle grounds, which introduces the rich history of the site, related to the protection of the trade route to Hungary and the former customs chambers.
