Description
The Teutonic Castle in Brodnica is a fascinating Gothic monument whose construction began in 1305. The mighty 54-meter tower offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding area.
The castle was built on a square plan with four wings surrounding a courtyard. A system of moats fed by water from the Drwęca River provided excellent defense.
There are interesting exhibitions in the basement, and five educational boards with infographics introduce the history of the place. An ideal attraction for lovers of medieval architecture and the history of the Teutonic Order.
