Description
Wallace Monument is an imposing Gothic-style tower rising 67 meters above Abbey Craig Hill. This majestic monument commemorates Scottish national hero Sir William Wallace, who led the Scottish army to victory at the Battle of Stirling Bridge in 1297.
Inside are three exhibition galleries with interactive displays, including Wallace's legendary sword. After climbing 246 winding stone steps, a reward awaits at the top with breathtaking panoramic views of the Ochil Hills and the Forth Valley.
