Description

Rosenborg is a majestic castle in the heart of Copenhagen, a jewel of 1606 Dutch Renaissance architecture.

Built by King Christian IV as a summer residence, today it impresses with its richly decorated interiors and collection of royal treasures. In the castle's basement is a treasure trove of Danish crown jewels, including four sets of jewelry set with diamonds, rubies and emeralds.

The Knights' Hall with coronation thrones and three life-size silver lions are just some of the attractions of this unique place. The Royal Gardens surrounding the castle provide the perfect place to relax after a visit.
