Description

Moritzburg Palace is a Baroque gem located on an artificial island near Dresden. Originally a Renaissance hunting lodge dating back to 1542, this majestic structure was transformed into a Baroque residence by Augustus the Strong between 1723 and 1733.

The interiors are stunning in their splendor - more than 200 chambers with precious furniture, paintings and tapestries. Particularly impressive is the Hall of Feathers, decorated with millions of colorful bird feathers, and one of Europe's largest collections of antlers, including the heaviest deer antler weighing nearly 20 kg.

The gardens and lake surrounding the palace create a picturesque setting ideal for a leisurely stroll.
