Denkmal für die Opfer der NS-Gewaltherrschaft is a unique monument in Munich commemorating the victims of Nazi tyranny.

Designed by Andreas Sobeck in 1985, it consists of a 6-meter granite column topped by a steel lattice forming a cube in which an eternal fire burns - a symbol of remembrance and hope for freedom.

The monument is located where the Gestapo headquarters used to be, which gives it additional historical significance. It is a place to reflect on the atrocities of the Nazi regime and pay tribute to its victims.
