Uhrturm

Uhrturm is an iconic symbol of Graz, towering over the city from Schlossberg Hill. This historic clock tower from the 13th century impresses with its unusual mechanism, where the large hand shows the hours and the small hand the minutes - the opposite of traditional clocks!

Preserved thanks to a ransom paid by locals to Napoleonic troops in 1809, it offers breathtaking views of the red roofs of the old city.

It's an ideal spot for photography, history and architecture lovers. The walk to the top is challenging, but the views will reward any effort!
