Description
Trinkhalle is a remarkable architectural monument in Baden-Baden, a symbol of the city's spa culture. Designed by Heinrich Hübsch and completed in 1842, it impresses with an impressive colonnade of 16 Corinthian columns and a 90-meter arcade.
The facade is decorated with 14 frescoes by Jakob Götzenberger, depicting local legends and the history of Baden-Baden. It originally served as a place where patients could drink the healing mineral waters.
Today, in addition to its historical value, the Trinkhalle serves as a tourist information center and venue for cultural events, providing an excellent starting point for exploring the charms of this elegant spa town.
