Description

The Old Town of Brasov is a pearl of Transylvania, where history comes alive at every turn. The picturesque Piața Sfatului square is surrounded by beautiful townhouses with red roofs and Baroque decorations.

At the heart of the old town is the Casa Sfatului (Town Hall), now the Museum of History, and the impressive Black Church, the largest Gothic church in Romania, named after a fire in 1689.
