Pałac Królewski w Queluz

The Royal Palace of Queluz is one of the last great Rococo-style buildings in Europe. It impresses with its combination of Rococo and Neoclassical styles, with richly decorated interiors lined with colorful azulejos, marble from Italy and wood from Brazil.

The palace is surrounded by beautiful gardens with fountains, sculptures and a canal used by the royal family on boats. Each room tells the story of the Portuguese royal family, especially King Peter III and Queen Maria I.
